I have recently been experimenting with this process of dry trimming on my Shearline Original, as per recommendation of Ryan Hall. I am very pleased so far. It has taken some trial and error to really hone in on the process, but I feel I am on the right track. I took some microscopic images of the flower at wet stage pre trim, post trim, as well as dry stage pre and post trim. The difference is amazing! With the wet trim I noticed that the density of trichomes had drastically thinned out. Dry trim on the other hand, the density had not changed much at all. Only difference I noticed were some sap heads were not there. But, as I said, the density had changed very little. I am doing more experimentation on this process to further my knowledge and to better assist Ryan and other clients on the future of what these machines are capable of.
